Dickinson Ballroom

The largest of all our event spaces, The Dickinson Ballroom provides a charming and comfortable setting for both social gatherings and meetings. Featuring modern, yet historical, classic décor with neutral colors, the Dickinson Ballroom is sure to complement any social event or meeting. The ballroom presents high ceilings, brass chandeliers and a copious amount of windows that provide plenty of natural light and excellent views of the grounds and Amherst College. On the east side of the ballroom, you’ll find doors that direct you out onto the garden patio that offers the perfect setting for ceremonies or outdoor receptions. Guests can also socialize in our Pre-Function area, which is tastefully furnished to reflect our historic charm. Windows are equipped with blackout shades to facilitate video presentations.
Samuel Fowler

Samuel Fowler comprises the west side of the dividable space that makes up the entire Dickinson Ballroom. This high-ceilinged space is warmed by neutral tones and historical-looking brass chandeliers. This room is also equipped with a drop down projection screen in addition to both wired and wireless internet access to assist you in hosting important corporate meetings and training sessions. Windows are equipped with blackout shades to facilitate video presentation.
Emily

Emily encompasses the east side of the dividable space that makes up the Dickinson Ballroom. Emily has all the amenities of the full ballroom including a drop-down projection screen and wireless internet. Windows are also equipped with blackout shades to facilitate video presentations. In addition, the Emily features direct access to the garden patio and pergola. Conduct your meeting or event in this elegant yet comfortable space, then you and your group can step right out the door onto the patio for a special outdoor lunch or cocktail hour prepared by our expert culinary team.
Webster Ballroom

Smart looking and sophisticated, the Webster Ballroom offers a more intimate space with extensive crown moldings incorporated with fresh, crisp colors. Custom designed, decorative chandeliers and traditional wall sconce further provide an inviting ambiance. A built-in marble credenza may be used as buffet servers or coffee stations.
Amherst Boardroom
Great Space For Smaller Meetings, Breakout Space for Large Meetings, Intimate and Private Dining Area
Conveniently located off the lobby, the Amherst Boardroom is a fixed seating boardroom that can accommodate up to twelve guests. A large mahogany executive table is at the center of the room. This room is also equipped with a drop-down projection screen in addition to both wired and wireless internet access. Windows are equipped with blackout shades to facilitate video presentations.
Rooftop Terrace

Boasting beautiful garden views, this premier outdoor space will make a dramatic impression for your guests. Located just off the lobby level, the Rooftop Terrace features a beautiful white-washed brick exterior, a working gas fireplace, historic-looking gas lamps, and a customizable floor plan. Available for private events from April-October.
Greenhouse Room
Great Space For Intimate and Private Dining Space, Smaller Meetings, Breakout Space for Large Meetings
Enjoy intimacy and exclusivity within the elegance of 30Boltwood restaurant. Large windows and retractable sky-light window treatments give the Greenhouse room an abundance of natural lighting. Also enjoy our attached Wine Room, with plush seating, historic exposed interior brick, and a chic but cozy ambiance.
Garden Tent

Overlooking the Frost Gardens and Amherst College campus, the outdoor Garden Tent offers the utmost in design flexibility. The Garden Tent boasts high ceilings, glimmering chandeliers, brick flooring, and retractable siding that provide an abundant amount of natural light. Available for private events from April through October.

A tented wedding is the perfect blank canvas for your wedding day – ready to welcome your unique and fresh style. Our tent is set up in our garden overlooking the grounds of Amherst College. The ceiling is draped with fabric and elegant chandeliers to help set the mood. In case of questionable weather, your guests will remain comfortable and protected with side enclosures.
